Dr. Erika Arndt born in Wheaton, Minnesota, moved to Homer in 2005 after completing chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Science University, in Bloomington, MN.
Through a set of positive working experiences with a Chiropractor team during her undergraduate schooling in Sioux Falls, SD, she decided to change paths. The shifts she had seen in her own health in such a short period of time impacted her decision and choice to journey toward the holistic end of Chiropractic, instead of the previous track to be a Medical Doctor. This decision continues to lead to the discovery of natural laws and principles, now lived and practiced on a daily basis. "It's amazing to see the changes I have I personally undergone during the last 5 years... by far, I am my healthiest yet and this is just the beginning. Knowledge applied really is power."
After receiving her Alaskan license in 2005, she purchased Callahan Chiropractic by the Bay, located across from the Boat Yard. Dr. Erika immediately changed the name to InnerNature Chiropractic in order to reflect her practice and philosophical views and moved the practice to the Compass Rose Building, in Old Town Homer a few months later.
Her primary specialty is in wellness and health coaching along with specific Chiropractic adjusments. These specific adjustments remove nerve pressure, allowing the bodies own InnerNature to comunicate with each organs innate wisdom.
Families, pediatrics, and expecting mothers top the list of enjoyment in each and every day. "The most recent of 'wow' factors came in the form of witnessing the grace and essence of a mother who had received regular chiropractic care prior to conception, post-conception, during labor, and immeadiately after her delivery; in the beginning of the babies existence, her environment had been optimally influenced with innate expression and upon her birth she reflected just this. I can only describe this as my most humbling and moving experience!"
